Series "A"   –   Pre-Presidential

The "A" Series consists primarily of briefing, announcements, and remarks by Richard Nixon about his forthcoming presidency. The recordings were made between August 8, 1968 and January 20, 1969, although most were done after the election. Future members of the administration and other prominent Republicans also appear. Included are five tapes from Richard Nixon's 1952 campaign for the Vice Presidency.
