Ken Marek is currently a Collection Policy Program Manager within the Small Business/Self-Employed Division of the Internal Revenue Service. Ken supervises the Case Resolution Alternatives office establishing policy over a broad range of collection programs including Financial Analysis, Installment Agreements, Collection Appeals and Adjustments. Marek began his IRS career in 1981 as a Revenue Officer in western Pennsylvania. During his IRS career, Ken has held numerous positions within the Collection function including Revenue Officer Group Manager, Chief Advisory Special Procedures, Offer-in-Compromise Program Manager and Headquarters lead Analyst. Marek was born and raised in Philadelphia, PA where he attended the Temple University School of Business earning a degree in Administration of Justice. |
