March 28, 2012 — Mexican national indicted for selling fraudulent documents

A Mexican man, residing in Lowville, N.Y., was charged in a five-count indictment for transferring false documents, possessing false Social Security cards and a false alien registration card, trafficking in false identification, and assaulting and resisting an ICE Homeland Security Investigations (HSI) special agent. March 28, 2012 — South Texas man sentenced to 17 1/2 years for receiving child pornography

Two Mexican "border bandits" caught carrying an assault rifle in the mountains of southern Arizona were each sentenced Tuesday, following their guilty plea of possessing a firearm in furtherance of a drug trafficking offense. Full story

HSI and local Puerto Rican agencies partnered to launch the "Doing the Right Thing" campaign, whose goal is to identify potential suspicious activity among Department of Motor Vehicles (DMV) and Demographic Registry (DR) customers and evidence of fraud or corruption within DMV or DR. Full story
