March 31, 2011 – Father and son cocaine traffickers sentenced to life in prison

Silas Mobley and his son, Marvin Suntate Mobley, were found guilty of conspiring to distribute, and of possession with intent to distribute, more than five kilograms of cocaine over the course of five years. They were connected to a 13 kilogram cocaine seizure in May 2009 and were stopped by K-9 officers possessing more than $30,000 after trying to purchase one kilogram of cocaine in June 2009. March 30, 2011 – US government offers up to $5 million reward for information regarding shootings of 2 ICE agents

The Departments of State, Justice and Homeland Security jointly announced a reward of up to $5 million for information leading to the arrest and/or conviction of individuals allegedly responsible for the murder of U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) Homeland Security Investigations (HSI) Special Agent Jaime Zapata and the attempted murder of ICE HSI Special Agent Victor Avila. March 30, 2011 – Upstate New York dairy farmer charged with harboring illegal aliens

An Adams, N.Y., farmer was arrested Wednesday and charged with harboring illegal aliens, following a joint investigation by ICE HSI and the Jefferson County Sheriff's Department. If found guilty, he faces up to 10 years in prison and a $250,000 fine. Full Story

March 28, 2011 – Foreign national indicted for illegal import of unmanned aerial vehicle

ICE HSI agents conducted an investigation that revealed that Henson Chua of Manila, Philippines, allegedly imported and attempted to export a RQ-11B “Raven” Unmanned Aerial Vehicle (UAV), which is listed on the U.S. Munitions List as a defense article. He is charged with violating the Arms Export Control Act and smuggling. Full Story
