Mark your calendar to vote on November 6, 2012 (add to calendar). Report fraud, voter intimidation or any other Election Day misconduct. Report a possible voting rights abuse to the Maine Secretary of State at 800-462-8683.

Mail or deliver the Voter Registration Application and/or Party Affiliation Form to your town office, city hall or the Secretary of State’s office.

The deadline to register by mail to vote at the next election is 21 days prior to Election Day. However, Maine allows for in person registration until, and including, the day of the election at any town or city hall.

• Be a citizen of the United States
• Have established and maintain a residence in the municipality where the person intends to register to vote
• Be at least 17 years of age (must be 18 years old to vote)
