Abstract

International Childbirth Education Association (ICEA) as a professional organization supports educators and other health care providers who believe in freedom to make decisions based on knowledge of alternatives in family-centered maternity and newborn care. ICEA is a nonprofit organization.

Publications

Serial publications: International Journal of Childbirth Education, quarterly--includes current obstetrical and maternity care information, a sharing of ideas and techniques for childbirth educators, a forum for group administrative concerns and interests. Other publications and holdings include materials for the Childbirth Education Workshop; Teacher Certification Program and class handouts.
