Serbian Land Forces commander visits Joint Multinational Readiness Center

HOHENFELS, Germany — The Joint Multinational Readiness Center hosted a visit from the Serbian Land Forces Commander Lt. Gen. Ljubiša Dikovic and V Corps Deputy Commanding General Brig. Gen. Michael A. Ryan, July 29.
The purpose of the visit was to show the Serbian leaders how JMRC facilitates and conducts training.
Dikovic toured JMRC's training facilities, and participated in a tour and demonstration of JMRC's Counter-Improvised Explosive Device program and briefings on the center's training capabilities and U.S. Army Garrison Hohenfels operations.
"The trip has been very useful," said Dikovic. "We had the opportunity to see how JMRC organizes training and prepares units for peacekeeping operations. The visit will assist the Republic of Serbia in the development of its own military training facility and continue the cooperation between U.S. Army Europe and the Serbian Army."
