NOTICE: New URL for the NCNR Information Management System (IMS) |
The NIST Office of the Chief Information Officer (OCIO) has implemented a new reverse proxy service that provides
FIPS 140-2 validated encryption; this encryption is mandatory for all federal systems. To comply with this requirement,
the OCIO will shut down the old rproxy server, which provided access to the NCNR-IMS, on September 1st, 2009, and
migrate to another server.
NCNR facility users will no longer be able to use the old URL https://rproxy.nist.gov/NCNR-IMS and will instead have to use the new server located at https://www-s.nist.gov/NCNR-IMS. Access to the new NCNR-IMS URL further requires the use of an Internet Browser that is capable of TLS 1.0 encryption. Accordingly, please refer to the following instructions: |
