Brig. Gen. Peter Sefcik Jr. is the mobilization assistant to the Commander, Air Force Life Cycle Management Center, Wright-Patterson Air Force Base, Ohio. The organization is the single center responsible for total life cycle management covering all aircraft, engines, munitions, and electronic systems. General Sefcik serves as a member of the Joint Aeronautical Commanders' Group Working Board, and represents the commander throughout government, industry and academia.
General Sefcik entered the Air Force in 1982 as a graduate of the Duke University ROTC program. He has served in various engineering and acquisition positions in the areas of weapon system development and aircraft logistics management. In 1992, he entered the Air Force Reserve individual mobilization augmentee program. Prior to assuming his current position, he was the mobilization assistant to the Commander, Aeronautical Systems Center, Wright-Patterson Air Force Base, Ohio. As a civilian, he is a consultant at a program management consulting firm.
