Maj. Gen. Louis C. Ferraro Jr. is mobilization assistant to the Deputy Chief of Staff for Installations and Logistics, Headquarters U.S. Air Force, Washington, D.C. He assists the Deputy Chief of Staff in the management and integration of maintenance, supply, transportation, civil engineering, munitions, communications and services for the Air Force.

The general was commissioned through Cornell University's Reserve Officer Training Corps program in August 1965. His career has included key positions as Air Reserve Technician, statutory tour officer, Reserve command duties at the squadron maintenance level, and various headquarters-level positions. In his civilian occupation, he is a logistics management consultant.
