Brig. Gen. Dixie A. Morrow is the Commander, Air Force Legal Operations Agency, Bolling Air Force Base, Washington, D.C.

General Morrow received a Bachelor of Arts degree in political science from the University of Florida in 1979. She was commissioned at the end of her first year of law school and was awarded her law degree from the University of Florida in 1982. The general entered active duty in January 1983 and was first assigned to the Office of the Staff Judge Advocate, 56th Combat Support Group, MacDill AFB, Fla., where she served as Deputy Chief of Military Justice and Chief of Claims. After 10 months of active duty, she was selected to become a Circuit Trial Counsel and ultimately transferred to the U.S. Air Force Judiciary Second Circuit, Maxwell AFB, Ala. She served as a fulltime prosecutor at 18 bases in the southeast and central America.

General Morrow was an instructor at the Air Force Judge Advocate General School prior to her return to the Second Circuit as Chief Circuit Trial Counsel. She separated from active duty in April 1991 and joined the Air Force Reserve. She has performed Reserve duty at center, numbered air force, and headquarters levels of the Judge Advocate General Corps, including service as Reserve Military Judge and Chief Reserve Military Judge. Prior to her current assignment, General Morrow was mobilization assistant to the Staff Judge Advocate, Headquarters Air Combat Command. In her civilian capacity, she works as the Managing Assistant U.S. Attorney for the Pensacola Division of the Northern District of Florida.
