Academy Nominations

One of my most gratifying duties is to nominate young people from the 22nd congressional district of Texas to Military service academies.  As a Member of Congress, I can make what are referred to as “congressional nominations.”

To be considered for an appointment to a service academy, an applicant must meet the eligibility requirements established by law and be nominated from an authorized person including a Member of the United States Senate or the House of Representatives. NOTE: I may only nominate applicants who are legal residents of the 22nd District of Texas.

Below are the documents that must be completed in order to apply for the 2012 Service Academy nomination. Please click the links below to open the documents, print and complete them in order to apply.

Due to the change in district office location, the deadline for applications has been moved back one week. Applications must be hand delivered or received at either my Clear Lake Office or my Sugar Land Office no later than Friday, October 12th, 2012. ***Note as of Monday, September 17, 2012 the Clear Lake office will be closed and a new office will be open in Pearland.

New Pearland office address:

6302 W. Broadway St, Ste 220
Pearland, TX 77581

Applications can also be submitted at the Clear Lake office in a drop box on the 4th floor in Suite 400. For further details, please call 281-486-1095 or 281-494-2690.
