11/10/2010 - Lt. Gen. Edward A. Rice Jr., incoming commander of Air Education and Training Command, greets Delayed Enlistment Program members at Texas Motor Speedway Nov. 7, 2010, before the NASCAR Sprint Cup Series race. Shawn - I agree but it's not required and they don't have to. They are civilians. I understand what you are saying but they did what they did and we have to move on and accept that fact. But you should always stand up for anyone regardless if you are talking with a General or someone randomly out of the blue.

Would have been nice for the pit crew taking a break in the last picture to stand up as sign of respect for the 3-star General.
