Responsive design is the new, hot technique to make content work on different devices. The idea is to serve a single site that can rearrange itself and function well on phones, tablets, and desktops. Everyone is talking about it, but is anyone really doing it? Jacob Parcell, Manager for GSA's Mobile Programs, will be the moderator for this high impact, engaging webinar.

About the Presenters

Meghan Daly is a web content manager for USA.gov. Meghan graduated with a B.S. in Health and Human Development from Penn State University. In 2009 Meghan joined the web team at USA.gov. She manages various content, oversee a number of projects in support of USA.gov, and manages the USA.gov Apps Gallery. Meghan also served as project manager of the mobile development project, which was redesigned in the USA.gov and GobiernoUSA.gov Apps Galleries in responsive design.

Ryan Day, IT Specialist, works in the Financial Administrative Systems Division (BDF) in GSA's Office of the Chief Financial Officer. BDF is active in promoting the adoption of mobile technology within GSA and is developing a strategy for making BDF applications mobile friendly. Ryan develops web applications and Service Oriented Architecture (SOA) interfaces for BDF. He has been developing software in the public and private sectors for more than a decade. Ryan also maintains BDF's mobile-themed Twitter feed, @gsa_ocfo_mobile.

Jeremy Vanderlan serves as the Technical Lead and Content Management System expert for the AIDS.gov website sponsored by the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services (HHS). He is the resident expert on mobile platform development and has represented AIDS.gov at high-visibility events and technical conferences, including the Health Summit hosted by the National Institute of Health, the New York Social Media Conference, and Mobile Health Stanford 2011. Jeremy gives presentations on the technical framework for mobile development on AIDS.gov, is the co-chair of ICF International's Mobile Technology Center, and is a front-end web developer.
