  10. Our seniors deserve to know that Medicare will be there for them after a lifetime of hard work. That’s why Pete opposed the House Republican budget, which would have led to higher prescription drug costs, higher premiums, and less guaranteed care for Northwest Indiana seniors. Click here to see the facts on how the budget would have impacted our seniors and those with disabilities: http://1.usa.gov/VAn2y7
  11. Gary's University Park area will soon see abandoned buildings demolished and cleared for future development. At the same time, Gary continues to make progress on a new bike trail that will improve residents' quality of life. When our region's leaders and residents work together, all of us benefit. Thanks, Post-Tribune for covering this positive development.
