Current Experiments
Omega Group members are collaborators on the following experiments.
- ATLAS
Experiment (CERN: Geneva, Switzerland)
- US ATLAS
Collaboration
- ATLAS
Upgrade
- D0 (Fermilab: Batavia, Illinois)
- Proton and Deuteron EDM Experiments
- LBNE at
DUSEL - A proposed Long Baseline
Neutrino Experiment at the Deep Underground Science and Engineering
Laboratory in South Dakota.
- MicroBooNE - an
experiment at Fermilab to build a large Liquid
Argon Time Projection Chamber (LArTPC) to be exposed to the Booster
neutrino beam and the NuMI beam at Fermilab.
- Muon g-2 experiment at Fermilab:
http://gm2.fnal.gov/ - A
proposed experiment to measure the muon anomalous magnetic moment to
0.14 ppm, a fourfold improvement over the previous Brookhaven E821
experiment.
- The Mu2e experiment at Fermilab:
http://mu2e.fnal.gov/ - A proposed
experiment to improve the sensitivity to muon-to-electron conversion by
4 orders of magnitude.
