Competitive Sourcing
CNIC will employ competitive sourcing and the approved alternatives described in the OMB Circular A-76 as workforce shaping tools to acquire commercial functions at the maximum value, align military functions to war-fighting capabilities and achieve operational savings for the fleet. The A-76 process provides CNIC an opportunity to evaluate and restructure our programs on a program-centric, enterprise-oriented basis.
CNIC will continue to work with our employees and customers to ensure the right CNIC coverage at the right time and in the right place. The A-76 process will assist CNIC in identifying innovative approaches, optimizing our return on investments, and developing more effective and efficient program-centric business practices across CNIC enterprise.
