Receive recognition through several awards, prizes
- Postdoc Distinguished Performance Awards (PDPAs) - Recognize individual or teams of no more than three who were major contributors towards outstanding and unique research resulting in a positive, significant impact on the Laboratory's programmatic efforts, or status in the scientific community. - Postdoc Distinguished Mentor Awards (PDMAs) - Recognize the positive impact and contributions that a mentor makes during a postdoc's appointment and who demonstrated a level of mentoring substantially beyond expectations. See PDMA Award Winners (pdf).
- Postdoctoral Publication Prize in Theoretical Physics - Biennial prize sponsored by Leon Heller and LANL, awarded for the best article in theoretical physics, published or accepted for publication. - Postdoctoral Publication Prize in Experimental Sciences - Biennial prize sponsored by Damon Giovanielli and LANL, awarded for the best article in experimental sciences, published or accepted for publication.
