Free Movie Night! FMWR is showing free movies on Friday and Saturday evenings, 7 p.m., at the Community Entertainment Center. Movie listings are posted on our Facebook page.
Important information about entering Fort Leavenworth: Fort Leavenworth’s Visitors Control Center (VCC) is now open at the Sherman Avenue entrance at 4th Street and Metropolitan Avenue. All motorists without proper DoD access credentials or identification must go to the VCC. Motorists with proper credentials use either Grant or Hancock Gates. Sherman Gate is open for OUTBOUND TRAFFIC only Mondays-Fridays from 3:30 to 6:00 p.m. Motorists using Sherman Gate to exit post should be alert for incoming visitor traffic and follow all road signs, signals and law enforcement instructions.
