Family and MWR offers social, fitness, recreational, educational, and other programs and activities that enhance community life, foster soldier and unit readiness, promote mental and physical fitness, and generally provide a working and living environment that attracts and retains quality for active duty Soldiers, Family members, Retirees and the Civilian workforce. The Family and MWR mission is to create and maintain "First Choice" Family and MWR products and services for America's Army. We care for the people who serve and stand ready to defend the nation.

Army Family Action Plan Survey! AFAP Provides a way for Soldiers, Family Members, Retirees and Civilians to let Army leadership know what works, what doesn't - and what they think will fix it. Free Movie Night! FMWR is showing free movies on Friday and Saturday evenings, 7 p.m., at the Community Entertainment Center. Movie listings are posted on our Facebook page.

Important information about entering Fort Leavenworth: Fort Leavenworth’s Visitors Control Center (VCC) is now open at the Sherman Avenue entrance at 4th Street and Metropolitan Avenue. All motorists without proper DoD access credentials or identification must go to the VCC. Motorists with proper credentials use either Grant or Hancock Gates. Sherman Gate is open for OUTBOUND TRAFFIC only Mondays-Fridays from 3:30 to 6:00 p.m. Motorists using Sherman Gate to exit post should be alert for incoming visitor traffic and follow all road signs, signals and law enforcement instructions.
