Germany came to Korea as the 19th Expeditionary Sustainment Command held an Octoberfest themed hail and farewell. More than 100 Soldiers and family members took part in German fare such as bratwurst and potato salad while listening to German music. Commander of the 19th ESC, Brigadier General Paul C. USFK engineers hosted the Tour De Seoul Bike Ride over the Chuseok holiday. Over forty bicyclists looped around the Northern Seoul metropolitan area, making stops at City Hall, the Blue House, and the Dongdaemun shopping district. The group travelled approximately thirty kilometers around the Seoul area.
