Woodall Votes in Favor of Limiting Funds to Libya
The House of Representatives was unable to pass a bill today to prevent the funding of hostilities operations in Libya. Congressman Woodall voted in favor of this bill, H.R. 2278, and issued the following statement.
“The American people, for the first time, will have their voice heard on Libya.”
Today, Congress is set to consider two bills addressing the United States’ military presence in Libya. Congressman Woodall managed the rule for debate on the Republican side for the two bills. Congressman Woodall issued the following opening remarks on how, through these votes, the American people will have their say on Libya.

The FairTax Gains Two More Co-Sponsors
This week, Congressman Rob Woodall’s signature legislation, the FairTax, gathered two more co-sponsors: Senator Richard Lugar (R-IN) and Congressman Sam Graves (R-MO). Senator Lugar signed on as a co-sponsor to S. 13, the “FairTax Act of 2011.” Introduced by Senator Saxby Chambliss (R-GA), S. 13 is the Senate version of H.R. 25, also called the “FairTax Act of 2011”. Congressman Graves signed on to H.R. 25, the House-introduced version of the FairTax.

Woodall Discusses Energy and Medicare at May Town Halls
Congressman Woodall (R-GA) capped off his May District Work Week on Saturday with two Town Hall Meetings.
