Today, I met with my new Military Advisory Committee in Colorado Springs. The members come from a wide range of backgrounds and will provide a unique insight into issues affecting our military and service members.

As a member of the Senate Armed Services Committee, I am dedicated to maintaining the best-trained and best-equipped military in the world and my advisory council will be a good resource for me on these issues. They will also help me advocate on behalf of Colorado's strong military presence and ensure that our bases, our service members, and their families get the support they need.
