SHAW AIR FORCE BASE, S.C. -- Hugh Chamberlain, depot field team, Hill Air Force Base, Utah, installs parts on an F-16, Sept. 9. Shaw maintainers and the DFT work together to accomplish new modifications on the F-16. The beyond-line-of-sight satellite communication radios being installed allow the F-16 to utilize satellite communications to talk with units outside the line-of-sight. The end result is a greatly extended range of communication. (U.S. Air Force photo/Senior Airman David Minor)
