Sep 11, 2012 Issues: Defense and National Security

Washington, DC – Today, U.S. Representative Stephen Fincher (R-Frog Jump), issued the following statement regarding the 11th anniversary of the terrorist attacks on September 11, 2001:

“As we remember the events of September 11, 2001, let us keep in mind all of the victims and those who sacrificed everything they had to stop the devastation.  Let us honor those brave emergency workers; let us remember the thousands of Americans who in aftermath of tragedy, offered assistance and helped pick up the pieces of a mourning nation.”

“Today, our thoughts and prayers go out to the families of the victims, and to all of the men and women in the armed services protecting our nation.  I continue to pray for those still grieving that they may be able to find peace in the memory of their loved ones on this day.”
