Smith Secures Additional Meetings on Proposed VA Hospital Changes
Chadron and Alliance will host community forums on the VA's proposal to close its Hot Springs facility Friday at 1 and 5 p.m. respectively. These meetings are being hosted in response to Rep.Smith’s request to the acting director of the VA Black Hills Health Care System, Steve DiStasio, calling for an additional public meeting to address the VA proposal.

Congressman Adrian Smith says a proposed closure of the VA hospital in Hot Springs would have a detrimental effect on thousands of veterans. He says veterans already have limited access to health care.
