U.S. Embassy Brings the American Music of "Trio Chicago and Friends" to the UAE
Abu Dhabi: September 23, 2012 -- Trio Chicago and Friends, a five-person musical group specializing in American folk, classics, jazz, and blues, will be visiting the United Arab Emirates from September 23 through September 27 as part of a tour sponsored by the U.S. Mission to the UAE. While in the UAE, the group will perform at New York University and Zayed University in Abu Dhabi, as well as three campuses of the Higher Colleges of Technology, in Fujairah, Ras Al Khaimah, and Madinat Zayed.

Reminder to U.S. Citizens in the UAE
Abu Dhabi: September 16, 2012 -- The U.S. Embassy and U.S. Consulate General wish to remind all U.S. citizens in the UAE of the guidance contained in the Department of State's Worldwide Caution dated July 18, 2012. In light of the unrest and demonstrations seen in the region over the past week, we particularly urge citizens planning travel in the region to review the referenced guidance. While we do not anticipate that similar events will take place in the UAE, US citizens should remain alert, aware of their surroundings, and should closely follow local developments.
