| Event Description: |
Swan Lake NWR will be conducting its annual Disabled Hunter Managed Deer hunt. Disabled hunters can come into the refuge and use the handicap-accessible deer blinds to bag a doe or buck. Volunteers are around to help the hunters find the deer, load deer onto trucks, and bring the animals back to the check stations if the hunters want assistance. It's a wonderful opportunity to get out, enjoy the weather, and bring home some venison. |
