Today is the Shotgun Deer Hunt at Eastern Neck NWR. Hunt permit info will be available in August of 2012. To apply for a hunt permit, please call 410-639-7056 or go to

REFUGE CLOSURE DURING DEER HUNT: All of Eastern Neck NWR will be closed to the general public ALL DAY while the hunt is held. Access to the boat ramp at Bogles Wharf will remain open during the hunt.
