Section 4 of the Natural Gas Act mandates the filing of rate cases by natural gas companies. The regulations implementing the requirement to file a rate case are found at Subpart D of Part 154 of the Commission's regulations.

As of October 1, 2010 all the material that used to show up in the ZIP files will now be in eLibrary in native file format.

The Instruction Manual for Electronic Filing contains information for interstate pipelines creating the required Schedules and Statements for a general rate cases, and for the public to understand the content of a general rate cases.
