WHAT MAKES TODAY DNA DAY?      Ilana Beth Solomon: I am currently a 2nd year genetic counseling student at the NHGRI. I am doing my thesis research on a Hereditary Colon Cancer, called Lynch Syndrome. DNA day is today because we want to commemorate the completion of the Human Genome Project in April 2013!
