I want to congratulate you on considering future employment opportunities at the Federal Energy Regulatory Commission (FERC). While the past few years have been exciting, challenging and rewarding for those that work in the energy industry the future looks even more dynamic. FERC has been a leader in developing and implementing the policies that guide this country's energy markets.
At FERC, you will have the opportunity to work with some of the most talented people in government. One of the unique aspects of working for FERC is the wide range of challenges you will face over the course of your career.
Public service is an honorable career. I have spent most of my professional career in public service, and have found it deeply rewarding. FERC has a noble purpose-serving the public interest. If you join us you will certainly have an opportunity to work hard at work worth doing.
There is no better client than the American people.
Best regards,
