SFX: Occasional dog barks
HARRY (agitated): Lloyd, I was just talking with Bailey’s mom. She says now that we’re open for business, there’s all kinds of tax paperwork we gotta do.
Lloyd: (nonplussed): Yeah, sure. Who’s Bailey?
Harry: (exasperated): Yellow lab, blue bow!
Lloyd (remembering): Right, right. She looked great. Uh, nice job, Harry.
Harry (proudly): Thanks. [pause] Wait, Lloyd, what about the taxes!
Lloyd (smugly): Irs.gov.
Harry: Huh?
Lloyd: Bailey’s mom was right. As a business, we do have other forms to file, but I am totally taking care of it.
Harry (shocked): You are?
Lloyd (chuckling): Oh, sure. I went to irs.gov. It’s got videos and tutorials, a desktop calendar to remind me of important tax dates. Hey, I even signed up for a small business tax workshop.
Harry: Oh, you should bring Paul, the poodle. He would totally love that.
Lloyd: Right. Uh, say Harry?
Harry: Yes, Lloyd?
Lloyd: Shouldn’t you be blow-drying the beagle?
Harry: Don’t they just shake themselves out?
Lloyd: No.
