Illegal Drug Cultivation – ECM #7265835

Congressional request: Relating to a Congressional Directive in Section 104 of the Office of National Drug Control Policy Reauthorization Act of 2006, P.L. 109-469. The Secretaries of Agriculture and the Interior are directed to provide a joint report to the Office of National Drug Control Policy and appropriate congressional committees detailing the assessment of the quantity of illegal drug cultivation and manufacturing in the United States on lands owned or under the jurisdiction of the Federal Government no later than July 1 of each year for the preceding year.

Integrated Resource Restoration - ECM #7105980

Congressional request: Relating to a Congressional Directive in Conference Report 112-331, National Forest System, Integrated Resource Restoration.  The conferees have agreed to the House proposal to allow the Administration to conduct an Integrated Resource Restoration pilot in Regions 1, 3, and 4. Within 90 days of enactment of this Act, the Forest Service should present a plan and guidance to the pilot regions for measuring performance and accountability. The plan and guidance should ensure program transparency, monitoring, fair allocation of funding, a consistent approach across the three regions, and that restoration is the primary goal of any projects funded through the pilot. The plan should also include traditional measures, such as timber targets and acres treated, while also including new measures such as watershed condition framework.

Status of Negotiations on Land Acquisitions on the Tongass National Forest - ECM #7105990

Large Airtanker Modernization Strategy - ECM #7134364

Timber Sales Pipeline Restoration Report - ECM # 6865327

Congressional request: Relating to a Congressional Directive in Public Law 104-134, Title III - General Provisions, Section 327 of Timber Sales Pipeline Restoration Funds. FLAME Fund – Annual Report – ECM #6943139

Congressional request: Relating to a Congressional Directive in House Report 111-316, Wildfire Suppression Operations. The conferees reiterate that both the Interior Department and the Forest Service should ensure that cost containment is an important priority when suppressing wildland fires.
