Internship Opportunities

Current college students have the opportunity to intern in Washington, D.C. during the fall, spring, and summer semesters. Internships are merit-based, with a heavy emphasis placed on grade point average and extracurricular activities. This is a great opportunity for any college student to gain college credit (if available at your current institution) and learn about the legislative process.

Application deadline for the spring session is November 21, 2011. Please email your resume, cover letter, two letters of recommendation, and a completed application to brad.morris@mail.house.gov or fax it to 202-225-8698, ATTN: Chelsea Barnett. The mail service in the Capitol Building can take up to several months, so you must email or fax your application package in order to ensure it arrives on time. Application deadlines will vary, so for questions, please contact Chelsea Barnett in my DC office at 202-225-5565 with all questions.
