LCDR Ryan Chevalier is a 2001 graduate of the U.S. Coast Guard Academy. After graduation, he served as a Deck Watch Officer aboard the USCGC Dallas (WHEC-716). Most notably, LCDR Chevalier participated in Operation Noble Eagle after the attacks of September 11, 2001 and deployed overseas with the U.S. Navy’s Sixth Fleet in support of Operation Iraqi Freedom.  

As a staff officer at the Office of International Affairs, LCDR Chevalier supported Coast Guard Flag Officer outreach to over 35 nations while also serving as an interim training and technical assistance liaison to the U.S. Northern and Southern commands. Prior to his selection for the Academy Instructor Program, LCDR Chevalier served as the Assistant Chief of Response for Sector Boston, Massachusetts. In this capacity, he coordinated maritime homeland security, law enforcement and rescue operations from the Massachusetts-New Hampshire Border to Plymouth, Massachusetts.
