Celebrate Black History Month

HEIDELBERG, Germany – Black History Month celebrations are scheduled throughout U.S. Army Europe communities during February. Scheduled events are listed below.

All month Bamberg – A stamp display honoring African-American achievements at the Postal Service Center lobby during business hours.

All month Garmisch – A cultural display at the post library.

All month Grafenwoehr – A cultural exhibit at the post library, Building 445.

Feb. 10 Schweinfurt – An observance at the Ledward Theater, 10 a.m. – 11:30 a.m.

Feb. 11 Heidelberg – A celebration in the Village Pavilion at Patrick Henry Village, 7 p.m. – 11 p.m.

Feb. 16 Ansbach – A banquet at the Katterbach Kaserne dining facility, 1:30 a.m. – 1 p.m.

Feb. 16 Wiesbaden – An observance at the Wiesbaden Fitness Center, 11:00 a.m. – 1 p.m.

Feb. 24 Vilseck – A celebration at the Memorial Fitness Center, building 616, on Rose Barracks, 3 p.m. – 5:30 p.m.

Feb. 28 Vicenza – A banquet at the Villaggio Elementary School, 1:30 p.m.
