    Gov. Perry outlined his plans for improving accessibility and controlling costs in higher education, including a four-year freeze on tuition rates for new students.

    Gov. Perry Attends Groundbreaking Ceremony for Bell Helicopter’s New Global Headquarters
    Gov. Rick Perry attended the groundbreaking ceremony for Bell Helicopter’s future global headquarters. Bell Helicopter employs 6,700 Texans and produces commercial and military, manned and unmanned vertical-lift aircraft and invented the tiltrotor aircraft. The company is investing $230 million in new and upgraded facilities in North Texas.
