1600 Pennsylvania Avenue, N.W.

Tours of the White House take visitors through the East, Green, Blue, Red and State Dining rooms. Thousands of visitors request White House tours each day, and the White House is only able to accommodate a fraction of those requests, especially during the busiest months of April through August.

White House tours are conducted Tuesday through Thursday from 7:30 a.m. to 11:00 a.m., Friday from 7:30 a.m. to 12:00 p.m., and Saturday from 7:30 a.m. to 1:00 p.m.  The White House’s schedule is subject to last minute changes due to official events and security concerns.  Many visitors enjoy stopping by the White House Visitor Center, located on the corner of 15th and E Street, N.W.  The Visitor Center is open daily from 7:30 a.m. to 4:00 p.m.

My office is happy to submit tour requests to the White House for Michigan residents.  In order to comply with White House policy, we must collect detailed information about each member of your party in order to submit your tour request.  If the White House has space available to accommodate a tour request, our office will be in touch with you approximately 14 to 30 days prior to the date of the White House tour.  We are not able to submit tour requests more than six months prior to the date requested.

For more information about White House tours, please visit the White House’s Tours and Events website.   If you would like my office to submit a White House tour request for you, please fill out the form below.

If you have any questions, please call my tour coordinator at (202) 224-6221.
