North Carolina Employer Support of the Guard and Reserve(NCESGR) is a Department of Defense Agency led and operated by dedicated volunteers and staff whose mission is to gain and maintain employer support for Guard and Reserve Service Members by recognizing outstanding support, increasing awareness of the Uniformed Services Employment Reemployment Rights Act (USERRA), resolving conflicts through mediation and developing initiatives to increase employment opportunities for military service members, veterans and families. The field committee is made up of over 100 dedicated volunteers reaching out to employers and military service members through multi functional areas such as Employer and Military Outreach, Public Affairs, Ombudsman, Training, and Employment Initiatives.
