Department of Homeland Security - Updated

Version 1.1 of the Department of Homeland Security’s (DHS) Open Government Plan addresses several weaknesses identified by our initial evaluation. Specifically, DHS has fixed links within the document, making it easier for the public to find information, and the agency has added additional content to clarify how DHS is planning to work with those outside DHS. The plan is now solidly aligned with the basic requirements of the Open Government Directive (OGD). While there are a few requirements of the OGD not met by Version 1.1 of the plan, the changes made from the first draft of the plan released on April 7 represent concrete progress towards solidly fulfilling the letter of the OGD.
