Welcome from the education program of the George W. Bush Presidential Library and Museum! It is part of the Library and Museum’s mission to encourage all students to learn more about the Presidency, the First Lady, American history, and government as well as to serve as a resource for the study of the life and career of President George W. Bush. The education program is developing interesting, hands-on games, activities, and trivia; information for parents; academic competition information; homework resources and programs; and much more, all for kids from grades K-12.

The Library and Museum will open to the public in 2013. Until then, check out these downloable activities and popular links for kids.

  • Tee Ball on the South Lawn – This gallery consists of photographs taken throughout the Administration of President George W. Bush of tee ball played on the South Lawn at the White House. The yearly event began in April 2001 and featured teams from across the Washington D. C. region.
  • Archived White House Website – White House Kids - In January 2009, the White House archived the Bush Administration’s website. White House Kids features more information about the Presidency, the First Lady, and American history, including homework resources and many more games and activities!
