I would like to take this opportunity to welcome and congratulate you on your assignment to Casualty and Mortuary Affairs Operations Center (CMAOC). During your assignment here, you will undergo many demanding, yet rewarding experiences.
As an integral part of the Human Resources Command, CMAOC provides policy and operational oversight of Army Casualty and Mortuary Affairs; oversees recovery, identification and repatriation of all Soldiers from present and past wars; serves as Army POC for POW/MIAs; and acts as DOD Executive Agent for Mortuary Affairs and the DOD Lead Component for the Defense Casualty Information Processing System.
Due to both geographic locations and military facilities, Fort Knox presents the possibility of new and unique experiences in terms of recreations, social development, and expanded knowledge of southern culture.
