Branches
The Army Casualty and Mortuary Affairs Operations Center (CMAOC) is organized into headquarters and three principal branches, and operates two contingency activities at Dover AFB:

Casualty and Mortuary Affairs Branch (CMAB) - Casualty reporting and notification; bedside travel and transportation orders; casualty support; death investigation tracking and management; fatal accident Family brief program; current conflict Prisoner of War (POW) and Missing in Action (MIA) matters; incorporates the functions of Case Management Branch (CMB) in non-contingency operations; and Intermediate Family Case Management (IFCM) provides advocacy, follow-up and support services coordination, assistance with immediate needs of bereaved/surviving Family members.

Plans, Training, and Operations Branch (PTO) - Policy proponent for the Army Casualty and Mortuary Affairs programs, Line of Duty (LD) Determination program, Military Funeral Honors program, and the Memorialization program; develop and field casualty-related training modules; oversight of CAC operations, to include staff assistance and assessment visits; manage casualty-related FOIA requests and other casualty-related special correspondence.

Past Conflict Repatriations Branch (PCRB) - Past conflict Prisoner of War (POW) and Missing in Action (MIA) matters and Family programs related to those not yet accounted for from past conflicts.
