Agriculture
Florida is home to a diverse number of agriculture products that support thousands of jobs throughout our state. Whether it is a dairy farm, orange grove, cattle ranch, aquaculture opportunities, or timber harvesting, there are many ways that agriculture contributes to job creation and economic opportunity in Florida.
In Congress I am working to reduce or eliminate federal regulations that harm our agriculture economy, including the numeric nutrient rule, a proposed shuttering of fishing in the Atlantic, and pesticide drift regulations. Farmers and ranchers work each day out on the property they care for, and as responsible stewards of the land, I believe that private property owners,with responsible state oversight, are the best way to ensure our agriculture lands are here for generations to come - not federal bureaucrats in Washington, D.C.
