Use Of Funds Survey Responses On February 5, 2009, SIGTARP sent survey letters to over 360 financial institutions; it included all institutions that had completed TARP funding agreements through January 2009. The intention of the survey was to gather information on how funds were being used; the resulting audit report, “SIGTARP Survey Demonstrates That Banks Can Provide Meaningful Information on Their Use of TARP Funds,” was published on July 20, 2009.
