Involvement

I found a job posting for the Bureau of Reclamation on Boise State’s Bronco Jobs. After working for the Bureau of Land Management, I thought this would be a good fit.

Experience

My experience with the Bureau of Reclamation has been very positive. I work with a terrific group of people, and I have had the opportunity to be involved in a variety of projects and activities.

Accomplishments

The Bureau of Reclamation has given me the opportunity to get my hands dirty in a lot of different fields. I have assisted staff in creating and implementing a new records management plan. I have been exposed to different aspects of project management, GIS, illustration techniques, biology, geology, and design work.

Future

I fell into this job by chance. While my degree does not necessarily apply to the work I am currently involved in, I have learned a lot of life lessons and gained a valuable amount of experience.
