Federal Investments Program Rates and Prices
Important Note: As of May 4, 2012, changes will be made to the display of information for both Today's Prices and Historical Prices. The field "security description" will be split into the following four fields:
- Security Type
- Rate
- Maturity Date
- Call Date
The table displayed on the html pages, the CSV files and the XML schema will all be affected by this change. If you use a program to download this data, please make the changes in your program to reflect this change.
The daily pricing file provides current market prices for investments (short, buy, or mean), redemptions (cover, sell, or bid) and end of day portfolio valuations.
- Agencies are the primary users of this pricing information.
- The data can be used to calculate the net sales price for investments and redemptions of market based special securities such as bills, notes and bonds.
- The daily pricing file is also a source for finding those securities that are outstanding and available for purchase.
Current day prices are available after 1:00 pm ET.
