The Chief of General Staff of Macedonia, Gorancho Koteski, observed a training event with the U.S. Marines of the Black Sea Rotational Force and the Military Police Battalion of the Army of the Republic of Macedonia on July 19 in Skopje. The event highlighted U.S. support for the Macedonian army's non-lethal weapons program as they build their capacity for potential peacekeeping operations.
