LORIENT, France – Sailors and Marines aboard landing dock ship USS Fort McHenry (LSD 43) man the rails as the ship pulls into Lorient, France for a scheduled port visit. U.S. Marines from II Marine Expeditionary Force embarked aboard Fort McHenry make up Security Cooperation Task Force Africa Partnership Station 2012 and will engage in exercises with French “Troupe de Marines. Fort McHenry, homeported in Little Creek, Va., is deployed in support of maritime security operations and theater security cooperation efforts in the U.S. 6th Fleet area of responsibility.
