Smiling Job Corps student

Job Corps is a federally-funded comprehensive program that not only provides essential academic and career skills training, but also prepares students for success in every aspect of their lives. It's a learning experience that helps students become responsible and fulfill their dreams.

Job Corps can help your child learn the specific skills that employers look for when hiring new employees. With hands-on job training provided by Job Corps, your son or daughter will be prepared to work at a new and better job when they graduate from the program.

In addition to training, Job Corps students receive housing, meals, basic health care, and a living allowance twice a month - all at no cost to you.

Job Corps is committed to offering all students a safe, drug-free environment where they can take advantage of the resources provided.

For more information, please see our Parents' Guide to Job Corps (5,113 kb PDF file) or call (800) 733-JOBS. An operator will provide you with general information about the program, refer you to the admissions counselor closest to where you live, and mail you an information packet.
